Monday we stopped at our first port: Grand Turk!
Before we had breakfast and got off the ship, we watched the sunrise from our balcony.
Capturing the sunrise with my dad.
After breakfast, we got off the ship for a day by the beach!
The ship was directly in front of us when we docked.
This is when we left my dad to sunbathe while Wendy and I went on our excursion haha.
While Wendy and I were waiting to go on our excursion, we walked around looking at the shops and all the touristy stuff. :)
After a few minutes, we were off on our stingray excursion on a boat to Gibbs Cay!
The water was so unbelievably turquoise there - it was just gorgeous.
Stingray! Wendy and I got to hold and kiss them, and we even got a back massage from them. It was definitely an experience. We got pictures taken.... but bright me decided to forget about picking those up. You know when I remembered about them? When the ship was on its way to the next port... yeah, a bit too late to be running back. Or swim, rather.
Wendy and I! Definitely a favorite picture of mine. :)
The conch shell display was pretty cool.
Cool looking rocks near the shore.
Seagulls! I love photographing these guys.
I had fun capturing the waves hitting the rocks, let me tell you.
When we got back to our cabin after dinner, this little guy was waiting for us! I still have yet to figure out what animal he is... any guesses? Either way, he's pretty cute with his cruising hat and sunglasses.
Well. That concludes day 3! Day 4 is the Dominican Republic, which I will be blogging about next!
