Saturday morning we were off cruising for 8 days on the Carnival Freedom!
Had my first beer on the first day... ha.
The Fun Times - we got one of these in our room every day with a towel animal!
I had fun taking pictures of all the little things in our cabin that was home for 8 days.
Usual hotel/cabin mirror self-portrait + cruising hat, y'know, it had to be done.
After beer and checking out our cabin, we ventured out onto the ship to watch it set sail!
She's a biiiig momma ship, the Oasis of the Seas.
Reppin' Canada, eh? But really, this was just so my grandparents could (possibly) see us while the ship sailed away via webcam.
Next was dinner. Then dessert, pictured above. I had the chocolate melting cake pretty much every night.
After dinner, we went on deck to watch the first sunset while aboard the Carnival Freedom. :)
The next day was another sea day! We spent it up on deck, mostly.

So before taking these, I have never seen water like this in my life. It was pretty surreal. This is also straight off my camera.
I was bored in the cabin. Or something.
After dinner, we got back to our cabin and found our first towel animal! We had quite a few different ones that were hard to make out. This one is clearly a puppy. :)
We also got the Fun Times for the next day, and Carnival chocolates. :)
And that concludes days one and two! Next I will be blogging about our first port - Grand Turk!
