This week I decided to try a new cookie recipe! They are pretty, pretty good I have to say. So, the ingredients:
-1 cup butter
-1 cup white sugar
-1 cup white sugar
-1 cup brown sugar
-2 eggs
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-2 cups flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-1 tsp salt (I used a LOT less than that, I just sprinkled a little bit and they tasted fine!)
-1 tsp salt (I used a LOT less than that, I just sprinkled a little bit and they tasted fine!)
-1/3 cup cocoa powder
-3 cups chocolate chips
-3 cups chocolate chips
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees, and get your butter.
Mix it up until it's all creamy and fluffy looking.
Measure your brown and white sugar, and put it in the butter mixture and mix that all up.
Once that's all mixed, crack your two eggs, and put the teaspoon of vanilla in, then mix that.
Once that's done, get your flour, baking soda, salt and
cocoa powder, and mix that all up like so
Next, get your chocolate chips (I used mini ones because they're awesome!)
Stir those in the dough (nomnom)
Take a spoonful of dough and make it into a little ball, then put it on the cookie sheet for baking.
Bake them for about 11 minutes, take them out, let them cool, and voila! Freshly baked cookies! Enjoy them with an extremely large glass of milk - you'll need it. And that's it! Easy, no? They're simple and awesome. I'll be making these quite a lot. :)
IN OTHER NEWS..lots of stuff happening next week! I'm seeing Simple Plan on Monday, getting their new CD on Tuesday, packing the rest of the week, and leaving Montreal next Friday. Where am I going, you ask? Oh just a place called CALIFORNIA. I am so excited. I can't wait to blog about it, too! I'm there for ten days with SO many things planned, so I'm going to definitely need both of my memory cards and a full charged camera battery everyday. Disneyland, Seaworld, L.A./Hollywood, San Diego, Warped Tour, YOU NAME IT! It's gonna be awesome!
Those look delicious. I might have to try them!
