First Snowfall

Well hello blog.. it's been a while. Almost a month! We got our first snowfall today, and a certain Husky quite enjoyed it..

Isn't he a cutie? He kept asking me to go out today just so he could roll around in the fresh snow. :)

My boots are cozy. And warm.

Winter sorta crept up on us! It was pretty warm for a while and then BAM. Snow. Ah well, at least Jakey enjoys it! And I do too.. at the beginning. After Christmas the snow can go, haha.

Winter Wonderland

On the second day of spring, we got a light dusting of snow (it's pretty much gone now, thankfully) and although it's not really what I wanted to be seeing on the second day of spring, the snow covered trees made for some pretty pictures.

Snowman Making, Bowling, & Baking

After having two very busy days, on Saturday Sara and I decided to have a relaxing afternoon. So what did we do? Make a snowman! His name is (was..he's dead now) Fred. :D

And who was the culprit? We think it was Jake. We used his dog food for Fred's mouth, so there he is trying to snag some.

After dinner, we went bowling with small balls! Up here in Canada, we have a choice of big balls or small balls. Since Sara is American, she wanted to see what these small balls were all about. So small balls it was! We had a great time!

After bowling, we decided to do some baking. We made snickerdoodles! I've never had them before, so I was quite excited once they were ready. They're yummy! A full how-to post is coming up once I post everything from this exciting week! :) Next is Mount Royal!

Cold Winter Day

Mount Royal

This morning we took Jake to the dog run, it was fun! We plan to take him tomorrow too. We dropped him off at home, and later in the afternoon we were off to Mount Royal! It was beautiful, I got lots of nice shots! I'm sure I'll get to go again soon!

Also, I started a new blog for a fresh start and I plan to update it much more often since I got a new camera for Christmas! So enjoy! :)

Old Montreal & Atwater Market

Today we went to Old Montreal to take some pictures, even if it was blistering cold out! Despite the cold, I got a few pictures, and then we went to Atwater Market to warm up a bit and get some nice fruits and veggies!
