Centennial Park | Spring & Summer

Centennial Park is a gorgeous park close to my mom's place with lots of trails surrounded by water. I've only ever been in the spring where everything was brown right after winter finished, so going in the summer with everything green was lovely! We went there yesterday, and I had a few pictures from April from the park that I never posted.. so I thought I'd post them at the same time. :)

At the dog run! We didn't go to the dog run yesterday since it was pretty hot.. and Peanut is getting a bit too old to walk the trails and go to the dog run right after. I still can't believe she turned 11 this year.

The leaves are already changing, it's crazy!

When I think of Spring...

...I think of

...bushes budding

...flowers blooming

 ...raindrops on windows

...ducks splashing

...Dairy Queen opening up as soon as it gets warm

...fresh fruits

...happy dogs

...sunny days at the park

...and seeing birds (especially robins!) everywhere I go. :)

Orange

Today I helped my mom plant flowers and veggies. Out of all the flowers, I like these best! They're bright and very orange, haha. Once the vegetable garden gets going I'll take pictures in a few weeks!

Peanut and a Flower

More Peanut pictures, and then another flower that came up! I'll be planting flowers this weekend most likely so I'll be taking lots of pictures of those!

So it's finally May. I finish school in a week, my birthday's on Sunday (and Mother's Day!) and the weather has been beautiful! Actually it's been sort of bipolar. One minute it's sunny with blue clouds, and cloudy and thundershowers the next. Crazy!

Spring & More Birds

So.. as you can see the snow from yesterday didn't last very long! It melted pretty quick, thankfully. So now it's back to spring, and here are some shots of things you find in spring: green leaves, tulips coming up, birds everywhere, wonderful clouds, and happy smiling dogs! :)
