Hanukkah was insanely early this year.. thus ending insanely early!

December 15 | The Eighth Night

I love the last night of Hanukkah because the menorah is fully lit. Ironically, this was taken at my brother and sister-in-law's place while we were having a Christmas party, haha. It was a great weekend. :)

December 9 | Latkes & A Menorah

We went over to my brother's tonight and my sister-in-law made latkes.. a Hanukkah tradition. Then we lit the menorah before watching The Amazing Race finale. Notice how there's Christmas tree bokeh behind the Menorah, now that's what I call a multi-cultural holiday season haha. :)

December 8: Wendy's Birthday

Today is Wendy's, my stepmom, birthday today! :D

We had cake...

...with adorable (and yummy) chocolate mice on it!

And tonight was also the last night of Hanukkah. :)

December 5: Celebrating Hanukkah

Tonight we went to my grandparents' house for our usual Hanukkah celebration that we have every year to eat and exchange gifts. It was really nice, and everyone had a good time. :)

These are potato latkes, aka the best things ever. They're basically small potato pancakes you have with sour cream, a very well known Hanukkah tradition for us! I look forward to my grandma's every year. :D

There was also lots of my grandma's baking involved.. my personal favorite are her biscotti! So good!!

Of course lots and lots of gifts for everyone! :) Lots of good gifts were given out tonight!

And that was Hanukkah this year, it was very nice! Next is Christmas, we're getting the tree next Saturday, so exciting! Can't wait to blog about Christmas celebrations! :) Until Christmas I'll still have lots of pictures along the way for the December Photo Project! Stay tuned! :)

December 1 & 2: Hanukkah

To start off, I'm gonna be doing the December Photo Project from now until December 25! It should be lots of fun and it'll get my mind going thinking of creative pictures to take! :) (P.S.: Since both yesterday and today both have to do with Hanukkah, I just combined them).

Last night was the first night of Hanukkah, the festival of lights! I really love lighting the candles and photographing them, especially on the eighth night when all of them are lit! It makes for pretty pictures! These are pretty too, though!
