The Little Things

The best moments in life are when you're with people who love you no matter what happens in life. Doing the  little things, like going to look at lanterns and out for an awesome poutine afterwards, and going apple & pumpkin picking the next day.

I'm talking about these two newly-weds who are happily married for almost three (!!!) months now. That's my brother Jared and his super awesome wife Shanna. Who just happens to be the sister I never had.

We went to the Botanical Gardens to see the Japanese lanterns. What's cooler than seeing lit up dragons?! Yeah, I thought so.

 Super awesome sistas! That's what we call each other. Sista. Yep.

I think these little guys were my favorite... I love pandas.

I never did say she was completely sane. :D

We went for poutines afterwards. That up there was my bacon poutine.

The next day we went apple & pumpkin picking! (Also. There is something very wrong with that sign. Jared pointed it out and I laughed hysterically.)

I also made these rocky road cookies a couple of weeks ago. They're really good.. but super sweet. They're better in small doses, as I slowly discovered. 

Halloweeeen! I spent it with Jared and Shanna at their place and we gave out candy. We're.. sister-witches.

It was this guy's birthday last week! Jake turned 8 on the 1st. :)

And that's life as of right now. I'm in school for give or take, about another month. And then it's Christmas break, which I'm soooo looking forward to! There's lots in store for Christmas this year. I'm excited to photograph it all. It needs to be December already! I'll probably do the December Photo Project again too, that was a lot of fun.
