Two weeks ago, it was Canadian Thanksgiving! Yes, it's in October. I never understood why we have it a month before the rest of the world. It's always weird in November when all the Thanksgiving specials are on and Americans have their break and it's like "..oh, we already had that". It's amusing. :D
To start it all off, here's a picture of our turkey. It was quite yummy.
If I could, I would eat that entire bowl of stuffing. I can't wait until Christmas so I can have it again. I don't know how I went without it until I had it the first time I celebrated Christmas. It's just so good!
Wendy makes the best mashed potatoes ever. Seriously.
Wendy also makes really good coleslaw. :D
Wendy made a white chocolate bread pudding cake, it was really good!
She also made chocolate chip cookies. Yum.
I don't think I posted a picture of Jake since his operation! I nursed him back to health back in May and he's doing really well now. :) His fur has completely grown back (it took a while!), and he's back to being a happy dog again, thank God! Here he is wanting food, as usual.
And that was our Thanksgiving. It's almost November which is exciting. Really exciting!
