Old Montreal and the Old Port

Back in December, when we both got cameras, Wendy and I decided to do a "Four Seasons in Montreal" project which has been really, really fun! What we do is we go to certain places in Montreal with pretty scenery (for example: Old Montreal, Mount Royal, Beaver Lake, Downtown, the Atwater and Jean-Talon markets) and we go every season and take pictures of the same things we did the previous season to see Montreal in every season. It's a lot of fun to take pictures together and go through them when we get home and critiquing each other's pictures, I really enjoy it! Today we went back to Old Montreal for summer pictures, and the Old Port, which made for beautiful pictures as well!

Starting off with Old Montreal...

Onto the Old Port!

...and back to Old Montreal

Up and down cobble roads in town, I walked alone.
That lyric is from one of my favorite songs "Life Goes On" by Simple Plan's guitarist, Sebastien Lefebvre. Whenever I walk through Old Montreal I think of that song because of the cobblestone streets and walking around the city in the afternoon. Love it!

Another thing I really love about Old Montreal is the horse and buggy rides all around town.

And that would be all! I'm looking forward to going back in the fall, but maybe we'll go a few more times before summer is over, we shall see!
(P.S.: You can go here (winter) and here (spring) to see the other Old Montreal pictures in other seasons! Next up is fall!)
